STONE GROUND WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR

Whole Wheat Flour is made from 100% of the wheat kernel.  It takes greater skill to bake a 100% whole wheat flour bread.  Protein and gluten contents need to be higher in whole wheat flour because the bran weakens the dough.  Whole wheat flour requires no enrichment because it contains 100% of the wheat kernel.  Whole wheat flour is used in many breads, rolls, buns, hearth breads, and other applications.  Heartland Mill stone grinds the whole wheat flour for a wonderful flavor.
